TechElf is Fluoelf techno side project. It was born in 2023 after 10 years experimenting and playing at parties under the same name. It took some time, but after all, a separation was needed as the project is mature and ready to contain by itself.
TechElf style varies with the parties he performs at. It’s usually very percussive and leaning to the serious side, not necessarily dark. He mainly plays psy and minimal techno, but his range is wider and can reach progressive techno and he is working on introducing dark techno and other substyles in upcoming sets. He will definitely experiment further, now that he is free from psy duties from his most known project.

Tiago Matos aka DJ Slash is a producer and DJ from Portugal, with a degree in Electronic Music and Music Production. At the end of the 90 s after some band experiences in Metal, he discovers electronic dance music, something completely new and very interesting that changes the way he sees and feels music. In 2001 DJ Slash started playing in small local parties but a few years later he was already sharing the stage with big names of the nacional scene playing House and Techno in clubs and festivals. In 2007 he decided to move to Lisbon expecting to expand his knowledge and vision about the movement and his culture. A few years later, around 2013, DJ Slash was invited to work in Switzerland on a ski station playing on Courage Club every night until 2015. As the movement evolved, he evolved as well in his taste and slowly started to move to new genres of Techno like melodic, progressive, minimal and psychedelic. In 2022 he is invited to represent Mindscape Rec.
