Daniel Leuenberger a.k.a. ALMA, was born in Brighton (UK) in 1980. He grew up in the Swiss Alps and spent his teenage years in Chile. There, he had his first encounters with electronic dance music, at secret locations in downtown Santiago. In 1999, during a trip to Patagonia, he experienced his first outdoor psytrance party, opening a whole new chapter in his life. After many fulfilling years in Chile, Daniel returned to the Swiss forests, where his first progressive techno dj-sets resonated in the summer of 2008. Today, Alma’s sets combine solid grooves with a nature-loving, spiritual outlook on life. In the spring of 2019 he co-founded Les Fines Herbes, an organic techno party crew in the french-speaking region of Switzerland. In his 16 years as Alma, Daniel has played at such amazing events as the Somuna Festival, Summer Never Ends, Timegate, Boom Festival, One Love, SUTI Festival, Harmonic Festival, Electron Festival, LSD75, Éclosion Festival, and countless family gatherings out in the bushes. In 2022 Alma joined forces with Deya (Noémie Matthys) and started producing soulful progressive techno, giving birth to the live project ALMA DEYA. Deya is a long time raver with a background in classical music, playing piano since the age of 7 and later singing opera. Together they produce melodic dancefloor grooves with a trippy twist. –
